Protective OrderNot all relationships are conducted with a mutual respect for the parties. Furthermore, not all relationships end in a civil manner. Domestic violence is an issue that is not only present in some relationships, but can also escalate when someone tries to end that relationship. The legislature, and ultimately the Court, has protective measures that can be taken to not only protect the victims of domestic violence, but also to protect the children being raised in this violent relationship.

Kristyl has successfully litigated numerous hearings on requests for protective orders, representing not only people accusing others of domestic violence, but also those people accused of perpetrating domestic violence. She is familiar with the grounds that could warrant a protective order, as well grounds that fall short.
